Payment security

How your card payment is protected.

  1. You pay on the bank’s secure page

    The payment page is hosted by the bank, not by City Valet. If your bank asks for extra verification (3-D Secure), you complete it there. The app opens the bank’s page for you.

  2. What we never see

    Card details never reach our servers. City Valet never sees or stores your full card number or security code.

  3. What we keep

    So that extra hours can be charged to your saved card, we keep only:

    • the bank’s reference (token) to your saved card;
    • the masked card number, the card brand and the expiry date;
    • your consent to charging extra hours to the card: the text, the time and the version;
    • payment records: amounts and status.

  4. Extra hours

    When you pay for the first time you explicitly agree that extra hours are charged to that card later. Before you confirm “Bring my car” you see the amount.

  5. Secure connection

    This website, the app and our servers talk to each other over HTTPS (TLS), so what you send cannot be read on the way.

  6. Refunds

    A refund is sent through the bank back to the card that paid. The refund policy says when you are refunded.

  7. Cards we accept

    We accept Visa, Mastercard and ArCa cards. There is no surcharge for paying by card.
