City Valet

Privacy policy

This policy explains which personal data the City Valet service uses, why, and what rights you have.

  1. Who is responsible for your data

The data controller is CITY VALET LLC (the City Valet service), tax number 04471031, registered at 17 Jivani St., apt. 28, Armavir 0904, Armavir Province, Armenia.

    Privacy questions and requests: info@cityvalet.am.

  2. Which data we process

    • Account: first name, last name, phone number and e-mail address.
    • Cars: plate, make, model and colour.
    • Orders: times, amounts and status.
    • Location: your position only during your own order and while the app is open. A valet is only tracked while on duty.
    • Photos of your car from six fixed angles: six at pickup and six at return.
    • Payments: records of amounts and status. Card details are handled by the bank and never reach our servers.
    • Consent: which version of this text you accepted, and when.
    • Messages: the messages you and your valet write during an order, kept for 180 days after the order ends.
    • Device: push-notification token, platform, app version and installation id.
  3. Why we use it

    • To provide the service: assign a valet, show you where your car is, and complete the order.
    • To process payments.
    • To document the condition of the car, for example when there is a dispute.
    • To meet legal obligations, such as financial record keeping.
  4. How long we keep it

Photos, routes and the order chat messages are kept for 180 days after the order is completed. Photos that are needed in a dispute are kept until the dispute is resolved. Crash reports are kept for 90 days. When you delete your account, financial records that must be kept are anonymised instead of erased.

  5. Where data is processed

Some providers process data outside Armenia, for example Cloudflare (hosting) and Google Firebase (notifications and crash reports). You give a separate consent for this.

  6. Who receives your data

    • Cloudflare: hosts our servers, stores photos and backups, and sends e-mail codes and receipts.
    • Amazon Web Services: stores the database, in Frankfurt (Germany), with its backups.
    • Google Firebase: push notifications, crash reports and app attestation.
    • Telegram Gateway and, where Telegram is not available, an SMS provider: deliver your sign-in code to your phone number.
    • Our bank: the payment page, the payments and the saved card. Card details never reach our servers.
    • Yandex: the map and the routes in the app (Yandex MapKit).
    • Google ML Kit: recognises QR codes on your device (Android only); it sends diagnostic data to Google.
  7. Your rights

You can ask for access to your data or an export, ask for a correction or deletion, and withdraw your consent. You can delete your account in the app, unless an order is in progress. We answer within the periods set by Armenian law.

To make a request, write to info@cityvalet.am. You can also delete your account in the app.

  8. Cookies

This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics, advertising or tracking tools. Choosing a language only changes the page address.

The City Valet app is not a website: it keeps your sign-in on your phone, in the phone’s secure storage. What the app collects is described above.
