Safety you can check
Handing over your keys takes trust. City Valet gives you things to check: photos, a QR code, a live map and a price you saw first. Here is what each one does.

Safety you can check
Six photos at pickup and six at return
The valet photographs your car from fixed angles: front, back, left side, right side, dashboard and interior. Our server records the time each photo arrives. The photos are kept for 180 days, or longer if an order is in dispute.
A QR code for every handover
The code is valid for a short time only. Both you and the valet can show one and scan the other. The server checks the code, that the scanner belongs to the order and that the valet is at the agreed place. The scan at pick-up starts the clock.
Live tracking
After you confirm, you see your valet on the map, with the route and the travel time. Your own position goes only to the valet of your order, only while the app is open, and stops at the handover.
Call or write to your valet
While an order is running you can call or write to your valet in the app, and they can reach you. Valets see your phone number only while your order is running.
The price before you book
You see the price rule before you confirm and pay the first amount up front. During parking the app shows the running clock and a countdown to the next price step. Before “Bring my car” you see the final amount.
Your car waits in our own parking
It is not left on the street. The valet parks it in our own parking and puts the key in a safebox. In the app the safebox code appears only for the valet working on your order, and only when they are at the parking.
A team that can step in
Valets cannot refuse an order, and our team sees every order live. If something goes wrong, for example when you cannot show the QR code, the team can confirm a handover by hand, and every such action is logged with a reason.
Your card is not ours to see
You pay on the bank's secure page. Card details never reach our servers.
